In Louisiana you generally get one year unsupervised for your first offense, then two years supervised for your second offense.

Man as bad as Louisiana laws are, if you have a lawyer, you won't do time for pot, or even hard drugs first offense.

I just jumped in the thread, didn't read all the pages.
I saw the downvotes and got upset. More than half these assholes drink and then look down at pot.
One day soon the laws will change. Until then, find a dealer you trust that delivers and never leave your house with it.

Depends on the judge too.
In the parishes where there aren't a lot of people, with towns of 5000 and less, those are places where they like to get the most out of what they can. They act like marijuana is on the same level as meth and cocaine.

I think it's more that the drinking assholes look down on bullshite.
He lied. His son didn't show up to court late and find out that they had already tried, convicted, and sentenced him in his absence. That's not how the system works. I'm always surprised how easily many of you just buy into these lies.
It's a schtick he runs.

I got to it late. The 90 days now sounds to me like contempt of court. Then after the 90 days he would get the sentence for the weed.
Chef, go to Norml.org and get the best weed lawyer in your area. Even if you have to take out a loan or what have you.
