My gosh, what a freaking terrible system. It’s like it was designed by aliens. Workday has to have the greatest salespeople on the planet because their product sucks beyond belief.

I keep telling mill's like yourself to shut the frick up, do what you're told, and have a positive attitude when taking on new challenges at the workplace.

Instead, you do this OP shite.

Clear instructions for success:

1: Stop.
2: Shut the frick up.
3: Figure it out.
4: Keep trying.
5: Keep a positive attitude.

Profit.

Besides, it can't be worse than Clarity.

It’s an HR system that employees use to track their performances, benefits, vacation, job details, etc. I post this because I’m sure some on here use it.

I don’t have to use it often at all but I have used it s little. I know people who use it every day and they hate it. the UI design is just mind numbing. It’s about as unintuitive as you can imagine. It won’t let you save your work and it often won’t let you submit your work for unknown reasons.

We also carved out performance tracking and went with Trakstar. Working well so far.

You’re making an assumption I’m upset when I post this stuff. I’m not. I do like to point out stuff I think is dumb or silly though. That’s why I post it. I probably will never have to deal with this system again. But it’s the greatness of the internet to joke over silly stuff like horrible systems and bad restaurants

I know there are changes. I submitted my resume to workday a year ago and it completely screwed up my format and it managed not to when I did recently. But then I spend 20 minutes filling out an application where workday won’t let me submit. I’m willing to guess that you have to use Internet explorer?

See, we also carved out our ATS and went with Workable, and I’ve been pleased.

Workday is generally for large, enterprise companies. If you can be relatively nimble, then I’d suggest piecing out HR tools.

We are all so very informed with all the information you posted about why it's awful.

I actually like it. Simple and easy to use.

That's a horrible idea for most companies that can't handle the amount of consistent custom developmemt required to make all the systems talk.

I administer, train, support, and write custom integrations/applications for Workday on all modules. I agree with you.

If anyone has ever used an on prem version of PeopleSoft then Workday is like an angel on Earth.
