Unfortunately, I work days this weekend, so no sales for me.
I went back to that estate sale Monday with 60% off, and I hit one garage sale today. There’s one more this afternoon (I’ll update here anything I get)

$50 twelve 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels (not a great buy)

$2 two treasure hunts (not great buy)

$6 two brass Gillette safety razors

Free four 1992 DNC glasses

$60 14k gold & pearl tennis bracelet (already sold for $200+)

$40 14k and pearl earrings

$91 large collection of Russel Wright Steubenville

$6 Tresor Rare eye cream (already has $70 bid)

$16 huge sterling & Baltic Amber pendant

$50 a bunch of sterling jewelry

Edit****
I got some great finds today and will post them later, but I had to show the 1968 Vietnam era US Marine Corps Zippo lighter

How do you know it’s not old?
It will eventually go bad

I am curious about the why on the eye cream. Did you research on site? Do you just buy unopened fancy looking cosmetics?

Also- have the tennis skirts sold yet?

I have no idea. I bought it blind because it was unopened

Man those Hot Wheels bring back memories. I knew a kid who had the original 16 when they came out in '68.

I bought it because it was unopened. I didn’t know this stuff was that expensive. They sell for an average of $105 on eBay.

The skirts haven’t sold yet. Got a few more days on them.

I just know stuff like that can eventually go rancid

Did you research onsite to know the value?
I would have never thought to look out for high end cosmetics

You obviously have better luck than me. I would buy it for $6 just to find out they sell for $5 on ebay

Speaking of high end cosmetics, I bought an open Chanel #5 bath powder in the vintage container, at Billy Cannon’s estate. I paid $35, sold for $75

There’s probably a batch number to contact to see when it expires. Maybe the person just wants it to display? I would hope so.

Are there any prehistoric mosquitos trapped in there? If so, it could be worth a fortune.

I wish. It’s just pieces of leaves, dirt, etc.
I was ready to make a dinosaur.

Not a miss, but they are not good buys. The 50th Anniversary HW’s sell for $5-$10 each. The Treasure Hunts sell for about $5 each

You EBay things as you go through the garage and estate sales don’t you? Only way you’d look twice at eye cream
