My daughter took them in 7th grade. It was a very good experience for her just to see what the test was like. I would absolutely have her take it

My daughter did as well. Its good simply for the experience and exposure.

What is advantage/reason of this?
It can help her get into preparatory schools or selective admission high schools for one. If she is in public school, it's need if she has a Gifted IEP. There is no downside to taking it at all. Especially if her grades are that high.
