I have my CPO (Certified Pool Operator). Served as GA for Aquatics during grad school.

If it was solid, it really isn't that big of a deal. There is actually a name for this: AFR - Accidental Fecal Release . For solid, hypochlorinate to 20 ppm for 30 minutes. If it was liquid, the pool would have to close for a MINIMUM of 24 hours by law.

It was sold nuggets. Remember...I said I grabbed as many nugs as I could find and discretely threw them into the trash.

I can relate to the OP. It happened to me one time a year ago. I farted in the deep end of a resort pool and blew a cloud of broken up feces out. I got the hell out of dodge and back to my room on the other side of the resort. I had not even entered the room before a fricking siren alarm started going off at the pool about 100 yards behind me. I looked back and through a sliver between 2 buildings and some palm trees and saw everybody either exiting the water or standing around the edge. Damn lifeguard whistle bleeping like a college football coach doing drills. It was kind of mayhem.

Told my wife what happened as we showered and got ready to go out to eat and damned if it didn't happen again in the shower. Must of been something I ate at the Bubble Room at lunch. Anyway, we walked out to the car by the pool and there wasn't a freaking soul out there except a dude putting chemicals in the water. I am just glad it was noticed so quickly so I didn't have to make uncomfortable decisions. I would have just told them that somebody crapped in the pool but it wasn't me.

Actually, kids are the greatest thing ever. Even poop incidents make your life richer. These are the stories we'll tell our grandchildren when we're in our 80s or 90s.

I wouldn't trade being a parent for a bachelor ever. Bachlordom was great but parentdom is FAR better. Our purpose in life is to create the next generation of humans. If you don't do that you didn't do life right.

Can you abort your kid? I don't want to come on Tigerdroppings and see MizzoukillsJr posting stupid topics on the board?

You grabbed the poop with your bare hands?

Yes I grabbed the poop nugs with my bare hands. What do you think I should've done? Asked the pool boy to fetch some latex gloves so I could grab poop with protected hands? GTFO. Difficult decisions had to be made in a split second. The whole idea was to get the floating nugs out of the water before anyone noticed and caused a panic. Considering the pool is still open...I succeeded.

I'd rather get noticed than bare grab poop. Kids make mistakes it's something to be embarrassed about.

I washed my hands 3 times since I've read this.

I've washed my hands a few times as well.

To all the idiot 2 digit IQers blathering about swim diapers, perhaps you should learn how to read an OP and the resulting posts. This place is full of legit retards.

People should really be more sensitive, especially with this event coming shortly after your wife tried to attack you with a hatchet.
