How come no one ever talks about the Obamas? Don't they live in the predominantly black section of Martha's Vineyard?
Apparently, they don't feel comfortable living among black folks, either!

Nailed it! Always throwing stones at the white devils until they figure out who is paying most of the taxes on all their free money handout programs including their pay raises.

Joy Reid and woke MSNPC article on wealthy white enclave rs

I'm not saying this Joy's primary home, but it's amazing that she doesn't want to acknowledge her own contradicting stance and have her additional home in places like North Baton Rouge.

Kind of getting tired of the nation media hijacking the St. George story to push an agenda and use it for outrage media.

St. George isn't a wealthy white enclave, it's not about "the Liberals in City Hall". St. George won't bankrupt Baton Rouge and turn the entire city into a Mad Max style hellhole.

Interesting thing is that if you look at overall demographics, not just Black vs White, St. George probably has a larger Asian and Hispanic population than Baton Rouge.

And St. George is NOT leaving Baton Rouge. They weren't part of the city and aren't leaving the parish.

And I say this as someone who lives in BR and isn't Pro-St. George.

Did they talk about how this is all basically Broome’s fault in the first place because SG is literally doing exactly what she said to do?

If I read correctly her response was from StG wanting it's own schools. So they will probably say White people wanted to segregate their schools to start with, which would hurt black kids, so will always point to racism with their mentality I'll gymnastics.

The original school district, SEBR ISD which was put into law but not funded, was probably about 60-40 white-black, which is in line with other established systems around here.

And the main reason for a new ISD rather than reforming EBRPSS was that the minority community told reformers to frick off and go make their own school district if they wanted to change things.

Wow, I’m already a huge media skeptic, but I can’t believe how pitiful that MSNBC “article” is. Everyone please read it, it’s a 90 second read. If anyone in the world still thinks MSNBC is competent, the OP’s link should change your mind pretty quick. The true epitomization of pitiful writing

Remember this when you read any national news article. The further away from a source the author is, the more incomplete or outright wrong it is.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the national media is calling the mayor’s office and getting their propaganda.

Broome will run down 20% of the parish to play to her base. She only cares about her people and NBR anyway.
