You way overestimate the rest of the Land Mass. Spend a week in Crawford or Carthage or Decatur or Waynesboro or Mount Olive or Jackson (RIP) and report back.

If the Delta Counties succeeded from Mississippi, the state might jump two or three places at best.

We should have taken WVU rather than Mizzou.

"Averaged down", I believe?

Not surprised. I live in the dmv area, and you'd be surprised at how active everyone of all ages is here, regardless of weather. This is on top of all the high pressure, long hour jobs congregated in the area.

When I get home to Texas, it's almost a shock to my body at how slowly things and people move here

but the question of "who would want to live there?" is laughable.

that's applicable to most states in the union. Save for Miss, and 'Bama, all other 48 states have something, some place that appealing to live/work in.

I dont know where exactly I would place Mass, but not at #1. Probably somewhere in the middle of the pack. The state health care alone drops this state at least 15 to 20 spots.

That poll is clearly racist. They have picked the most lily white states in the country to be the best.

What happens when you dump Shreveport-Bossier and Monroe?

They create a new 51st spot?

You ever think we move slowly because we're more relaxed and happy?

Most of the people I work with are transplants. Those frickers walk like 10mph everywhere. At my job, you can pretty much guess who is from here by how fast they walk

A black person walking across the road/street while you wait on them to cross is the happiest, most relaxed person on earth.

Nah, the slow shuffling feet thing is why I stay out of grocery stores on the first of the month
