I'm definitely not the person to ask where to stay. I stay in this place called bakery square. I like it because I can get to and from my office in 15 minutes.
I spend a lot of time in this place called waterfront, mostly chain restaurants around here though. I normally go to the strip district and Lawrenceville when I like to have a drink. There is still a lot I haven't experienced yet with the city.

Come further west bud.
I did just go to the waterfront for the first time last weekend. My girl lives north of there. It was ok.
1200$ will get you something decent.
The place I linked is $1300. for a 3 bedroom 3 bath with a 2 car garage.
I need a garage for my toys. Lots of places don't have them.
Paying $500 to live in an old coal town right now.
but house is clean and lots of wildlife. I can walk to a creek and wadefish when it gets hot.

Ignore the stop signs on the on ramps for the interstate. How the frick am I supposed to merge onto an interstate from a stop sign
This is really crazy to me, people don't seem to know how to merge here.

Its retarded. And the merge lanes are about 20 yards long.

quote:yeah, and traffic can be a bitch at times. it's all about which bridges and tunnels you have to go through / over.
Oh and the streets and interstate are ridiculous to navigate, I get loss all the time.
even w/ a GPS some of the turns onto major roads from downtime can be easy to miss.
we've been here two years and love it though.

No cops on the interstates. I average 80-85 in a 55 and traffic is not that bad.
Maybe that why everyone was flying past me on the interstate. wish I had known this before I went up there.
