Good fricking luck with that move. In a state with a lot of shitty places, it's one of the shittier.

Otherwise Meridian is more or less a dump in tornado alley like all the other central MS/Bama towns

frick me.

didn't even think of this.

I know tornadoes are scary to everyone, but I'm literally terrified of them - even though I've never actually witnessed a twister

I have lived in MS for the last ten years and moved around La for my entire life before that....I can tell you that MS weather is identical to LA weather...

Where are you working? A long commute in Meridian is like 10 minutes.

Any chance this move is for a sales job? Has to be sales or Peavey related, right?

ETA: I'm not trying to discourage the OP due to the weather. Weather wouldn't be the reason I wouldn't wanna move somewhere

Yeah, sorry bro. It's probably the worst place to live in Mississippi.

Lots of easy sluts but most over 18 have some kids. I picked up some chick on a week night/ladies night and spent the night at her place. Early next morning I'm laying in bed with a hang over and some kid was tugging on my arm trying to wake me up. He said wake mama up and tell her it's time for me to go to school. I was like WTF where did you come from. Mama said get your arse back in bed you ain't going to school today. I felt bad for the kid and decided it was best to bring the ladies to my place.

North West Lauderdale County is one of the nicer areas. Just don't go out at night and you will probably live for those 2 years. Seriously, can you move to like the Arctic circle or something? Maybe Haiti? These would be better choices.
