Breckenridge, CO. I went snowbording there when I was a kid and have wanted to live there ever since.

As a place to live, Breck is a very nice place if you can put up with the crowds. Given a choice I'd rather live in Frisco but Breck is cool.

As a destination, I think it's very overrated. There are too many people in not enough space and the skiing in particular is fairly basic for the most part (there are exceptions if you know where to look).

Red River, New Mexico in winter. Beautiful, snow covered valley.

Madison, WI was incredible. So many great places in the city, beautiful college campus, bunches of outdoor activities, great scenery.

BOOM! Headshot!

The Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, OBX, Zion's NP, the Mojave Desert, Mount Rainier, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, Nantucket Island and almost all of Northern California.

Mature Redwoods and Sequoias are the most stupendous things to behold.

Utah, all of it.

This guy gets it. They could fence off all of southern Utah and call it a National Park. It's other worldly.

Garberville, CA. You've just got to watch out for the pot farmers.

Northern California (waaaay north), is about as exceptional as southern Utah in my book. When riding through those Redwood Groves, it was like
riding back into a prehistoric age.

Lolo pass, Idaho.

Ruidoso, New Mexico

Huntsville, Alabama

Nashville, Tennessee (I know it gets a lot of love, but it's still not enough. That place is awesome.)

I like Lafayette a lot, too.

Oh, and Boulder, Colorado of course. No matter what you've heard, it's probably still better than that.

Boone/Blowing Rock NC--Asheville gets all of the publicity, but Boone is a cool Mountain town that flies under the radar.

Great answer. Blowing Rock is a great little town. A lot of money invested there.

I always thought that Point Clear, AL, was over-hyped, but after visiting a few times, it's a great place to get away and chillax.

Just north of Tampa FL by maybe 30 mins on I 75. Beautiful hill country. Looks nothing like Florida at all.

Ocala, horse country. Beautiful area. Yeah, you don't even feel like you are 3 hours from Miami.

Madison is usually rated pretty highly. I doubt it's underrated
