It's Detroit.

Interestingly Houston has a higher violent crime rate than New Orleans. FWIW Houston is also much worse than where I am.

Here's a really cool story about Detroit

LINK

Not really relevant but he does a great job telling the attempted murder story.

N.O. Is just over half black while Detroit is about 90% black. I'm not suggesting anything but I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

Yeah, it's not relevant but it is a cool story.

So who shot him? The kid that he gave a ride to or someone else? Surely he would have noticed a shotgun in his passengers lap!

it was the kid who he gave the ride to. He knew him his whole life and the kid was told that to join a gang he had to kill a random person. He chose someone he knew his whole life.

The worst is the dude's family in court calling Ross a coward.

I've looked up crime stats for certain areas of NOLA when looking for apartments and I do believe they include areas not necessarily New Orleans but just called that.

What a stupid question. Do some research on crime rates for each city and try to still pick New Orleans.
