Solid advice.

Cayman is great though. Night and day difference between the two islands.

We did the floating excursion in Jamaica. Wasn't expecting much but turned out to be pretty cool.. Just being in the middle of the jungle in Jamaica. After we finished floating they had some homemade jerk chicken fresh off the grill. Turned out to be a cool little adventure. Just be sure if you take a cab somewhere in Jamaica that you take a legit cab

Cayman like others said is cool as hell. We just took a taxi to a local beach and snorkeled and whatnot

I did an all inclusive in Jamaica and had fun. I was in Ocho Rios. Don't really see why you would necessarily avoid it.

I have also done week long trips in Aruba and St. Maarten.

I have. I thought it sucked. The falls aren't all that nice to begin with, and then when you're done you're forced to walk through the marketplace where everyone hassles and haggles you. The only thing I bought was one of those little glass bottles of Coke that a little kid was selling.

Dunns river falls and Ocho Rios were great, had a blast.

Montego Bay Aint

Caymans were nice, but at the same time was like being in Florida.

We did the Martha Brea bamboo river rifting in Jamaica. It was so nice and peaceful, the guides even let my boys raft. We will do it again when we go back in August.

In grand Cayman we always do the turtle farm for our 5 year old boys.

Do the zip lining in the morning than go to Margaritaville after. The zip lining was a lot of fun and you go to the jungle so there isn't a bunch of local Jamaicans hounding you for money.

Don't take a picture with anyone dressed up as a Rastafarian. They will ask you to take pictures with them and then demand you pay them for it. Screw them.

Yes, and enjoyed it. The ride there will give a good look at the "interesting" side of the island. Look left, beautiful water.....look right, slums. The ride will also test your faith. The drivers have no understanding of the brake pedal. The just blow the horn at each other and play chicken through all intersections. Everyone you meet will ask for a tip, so just expect it. BUT, some do work pretty hard to earn it. Others stand around with fruit baskets on their head offering to take a picture with you. Then stick out their hand.

We did a five day vacation in Grand Cayman last year. We took in most of the sights during that time. There is shopping, the rum distillery (not open when I was there) and a snorkeling location within a short walk of the docks at the cruise terminal area. The turtle farm is cool but it is small and can be seen in 20 minutes. Stingray City is pretty memorable and I'd encourage you to try it. A short taxi ride to Cemetary Beach or the man made reef behind the Marriott on the Seven Mile Beach is a cheap and productive snorkeling trip.

If you do adventure into margaritaville, be sure not to get table service, they tax the F out of you (chair tax, table tax, looking at the sky tax, etc.) - go striaght to the bar and order your burger & beer from there.

I literally just did this cruise last week.

Not much in Grand Cayman, but it was the most beautiful island we went too. One tour and you will see everything. We did swimming with the sting rays.

Jamaica was a lot of fun, but we had an awesome tour guide. If you're in a group, I can give you his contact info and he can pick you up at the dock.

Jamaica sucks if you dock in Montego. (BTW Im pretty sure casino is closed while at port) There is the falls and some AI options but def don't do anything to do with diving or snorkeling. Jamaica is one of the worst islands at taking care of their reefs or what is left of them.

Dunn River Falls is awesome. If you don't look like a mark the locals won't frick with you. I've never had a problem in Jamaica. Country is poor as frick, but some of the views are absolutely gorgeous. Have fun!

Lots of people have told me to swim with the dolphins..is it worth the money? I don't mind paying 150 per person if it's a great experience?
