BLM is a counterproductive organization and for anyone who is not convinced, this video should do the trick for you. They preach the exact opposite of what MLK wanted.
I for one will not take them seriously so long as they refuse to acknowledge the problems in their community. You can't have a discussion about progress with someone who refuses to acknowledge their own transgressions.

I can only imagine what MLK would think of the whole sagging pants, hip hop, thug mentality.
If he were around today, he'd probably be labeled an Uncle Tom and would not be nearly as admired and revered as he is now.

MLK was a pacifist in a time of racial upheaval. History can try to tear him down because of his infidelity or his views. White America hated MLK. Fringe black movements labeled him as an Uncle Tom. They were afraid of what he represented. A social movement to correct injustices. LBJ swung his giant fricking dick and slapped them all in their face.
And people are still pissed about it from both sides.
