A Mississippi lawmaker posted online that he thinks Louisiana leaders should be lynched following the removal of four Confederate monuments. Karl Oliver, R-Winona, is a state representative.

On May 20, the day after the Robert E. Lee statue was removed in New Orleans, he posted the following on his Facebook page, along with a picture of the statue:

"The destruction of these monuments, erected in the loving memory of our family and fellow Southern Americans, is both heinous and horrific. If the, and I use the term extremely loosely, 'leadership' of Louisiana wishes to, in a Nazi-ish fashion, burn books or destroy historical monuments of OUR HISTORY, they should be LYNCHED! Let it be known, I will do all in my power to prevent this from happening in our State."

I don't have a problem with it. It's his right to voice his own opinion, don't like his opinion...then pull the sand out of your sensitive libtard vagina

So what he is saying is that if you disagree with him politically, the punishment should be the death penalty...and he's comparing them to Nazis? Okay.

I suspect that "sensoring" history is probably a lot tougher to do that you might imagine.

I don't think ol' boy pays attention to the things happening at Ole Miss and Southern Miss. It is already "happening" in Mississippi.

New Orleans folded in typical French fashion, the civil war was short lived in New Orleans.

Meh, they'll get what's coming to them if any of them have higher political aspirations that require votes from the rest of the state instead of just their liberal political safe space in Orleans Parish.

Wow, what an incredibly stupid way to phrase a otherwise good argument.
