Mississippi Beaches?
Calling OT ballers: I'll be headed East thru Baton Rouge on I-10 back to Georgia late Friday night, looking for a nice beach/community to stay the night at somewhere before Mobile --- any advice... If I could I would power thru to Ft. Walton, but I don't think that's a reality and would leave me with extra driving Saturday... help appreciated!

Stay at a casino. It'll only be a couple miles out of the way down 110 off of I-10.

re: Mississippi Beaches?
You'd be much better getting to Florida

MS beaches suck ass

Gulf Shores/Orange Beach would be better

re: Mississippi Beaches?
Gulfport/Biloxi = more to do

Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Long Beach = quieter but easy drive to Gulfport/Biloxi

Bay Town Inn in Bay St Louis. Beaches are fine, the water is shite. Perfect for kids though since it's shallow for a hundred yards or so.

This. You will still get that small beach town kind of feel.
Or you could drive to Pensacola Beach. It really isn't that bad of a drive and getting there will only take you 15 or so minutes off of I-10, which is much easier than trying to get to an area like Gulfshores or Ft. Walton, etc.

Way too far off the interstate for a pass through stop
