Wife had a good point. It hadn't even been 24 hours when they started looking for her. She probably sent out some troubling text which caused the cops to go ahead and start looking for her. I graduated with her BF, haven't been around him much in years but he has always been a nice guy.

Relative on nola message board posted text was along the lines of "please take care of my child." Still the whole thing together seems odd.

Yeah it's pretty shaky on that part of Elysian Fields anytime of the day, also why are they calling that NO East?

People get depressed, people act erratic. People kill themselves for seemingly no reason

Man, this is a pretty crazy story. Gun being left in the vehicle, car in a lowes parking lot, and text message saying please take care of my child leads me to think she committed suicide. But, being in that area and disappearing from everyone makes me also think she may have been robbed and gunned down.

You are late. It was posted a few pages back. I feel for the family, I hope the release some new details soon so the public can try to help.

Gun being left in the vehicle,

One of the posters on NOLA said she was shot in the head with a shotgun and a handgun was found on the seat. I am not saying he knows this for a fact, just that, if true, it means murder.

The geography suggests that the perp may have been driving her around to ATM's. The geography of where she was found suggests he/she lives within about a mile, to a mile and a half.

Women who commit suicide seem to make a great effort to not do it in a way that could harm their face. I am only guessing this was not a suicide.

More times than not these girls show back up a few days later. Sad this situation turned out this way. From my understanding she has a young child. I think suicide would be just as bad if not worse than the other possibilities. RIP.

Are you serious...

Come on

I said I hoped the best. And I only hoped for the best outcome. I only mentioned at 24 hours missing on a Saturday, 9 times out of 10 it's someone pulling a bender. I hate that this lady decided to take her own life. I pray her family finds peace..

I saw that too. Pretty sure that poster confused "gun shot" with "shotgun".

There are ATMs on every block of the city. I don't get this comment.
