theres always some shady cats hanging out around the edge of the parking lot at Lowe's in G-town

Seems strange. Are they looking for work or just hanging out looking for trouble?

well at 8:30 this am they had several sheriffs in the parking lot, followed by an ambulance that left empty, and shortly after they loaded a body into another van and left

Sympathies to his family and friends. I'm sure his mother is crushed. Sadly, this played out as most people thought regarding the drug involvement. Probably another reason his mother was frantic knowing his history. Wasted young life, but addiction is nothing to discount. It's stronger than many. Some folks simply cannot beat it or go the day by day route and make it. I lost a family member to it. He was a good person, but in rehab so many times I lost count. It was bigger than he was.

This thread is mind blowing. Florida 225 needs to come back and answer some further questions. He is after all one the last few to see/speak to him before his departure. It is rather odd he would come post here first and not contact any family member.

Probably because he figured the guy is a grown man who fell back into some past issues and just didn't want mom to find out.. Seriously doubt the guy thought he would be dead a few days later.

Sorry for the loss of this young man, apparently to his inner demons.

Just dropping in to say, don't doubt the power of this site. The Mickey Shunick murder was practically solved here if I remember correctly, the BP oil spill broke here and a lot of people were able to contact each other here and learn in real time what was happening, etc etc. This is a great site to get info you won't see anywhere else.

I thought it was strange from the beginning they said he went missing on his way to the airport but might be in Gonzales. Then he ends up in Gonzales. I guess they never really thought he went missing on way to the airport.

What updates do you need? A very close friend of mine of 8+ years is dead. The last thing the dude said to me was, "see you tomorrow, prick."

Was supposed to be hanging out with him this entire week, not spending another 5 days here going to his funeral.

No way he'd go unnoticed for long in a parking lot like that.

Lowes parking lot

Not this weekend. I was in that Lowe's a few times between Friday and Saturday and it was PACKED all weekend. No way he was there all weekend and went unnoticed.
