Might be moving to San Pedro ,California soon - tell me about it.

My dad is about to get a good arse job there and was wondering what California is like. Mainly San Pedro if anyone has been there before.

I've been there before. It's right next to Long Beach. I just remember it being super crowded everywhere

I live in the Bay Area but moved here from Los Angeles. Long Beach isn't bad. I loved LA. The weather is amazing and the air is cleaner by the water. It's expensivish....but a lot less than other parts of LA and SF.
edit: after reading your last post....the girls are super hot and everywhere...you will love it. Buy a board and have fun.

San Pedro itself is pretty industrial with the port right there. You're right next to Palos Verdes though, which is incredible, and even parts of Long Beach are very nice.

There's a Tom Selleck movie from the 90s where he gets setup by crooked cops and sent to prison. That was set in San Pedro and is all you need to know.
