They are makin much better vehicles now. Not great. But better than most give them credit for. It was a joke though

Unfortunately the Jeep GC does not come with a 3rd row or that would be my rec

Just traded in my Tahoe for a Jeep GC. So far I love it.

I had several issues with my Tahoe over the last few years and the last straw was engine trouble that was going to cost me a good bit out of pocket. So I pulled the trigger and got the JGC Limited.

They are making much better vehicles these days. Have you looked at the used car market?

Anyone in here own an Enclave? I was looking in the direction for the wife as well but 2 friends who own one now said they would not recommend. In their opinion it would be a car that would always cost money due to things always breaking. Something with the steering was one, don't recall the others.

But I'm curious as to other's experience as it's a nice looking SUV and seems to be at the top of everyone's list.

I wasn't that high on them either until I rented one last summer. It was a pleasant surprise.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned about driving an Enclave is that, well...you'd be driving a Buick.

A Buick.

It's only a year old. Give it a chance.

So your stereotype of what a Buick is would make you pass up a good vehicle for something that may not be as good?

Nissan has had those CVTs for over 4 or 5 years now so they should have worked out most of the problems. The wife drives a 2009 Murano with over 100k miles and she hasn't had a single problem with the transmission.

This may help you. It is US News Best Cars for the Money ranking. LINK

The wife and I have been searching for the same type of vehicle. US News has the Hyundai Santa Fe (not sport) as the best for the money which is probably true. Hyundai has come a long way and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

We personally are leaning to the Traverse, however. It has a ton of room and a lot of great features. Also, we found it really easy to drive unlike some of crossovers/people movers.

I don't know about that list brah. Mazda and Volkswagen dominate the lists of worst used cars and your list has both as some of the best cars to buy.

Not my list. I don't care personally. Just a reference. Maybe I should have given the ranking for affordable 3 rows SUVs LINK

Regardless, I'm in the traverse camp. That's my recommendation. I would agree with the person who said avoid dodge, though.

Buick Enclave is an upgraded Acadia. Basically same vehicle. Based on the fact you were looking at a Pathfinder, your likely competitors will be Acadia or Explorer. Others will be much more or much less.

That list is terrible. It's like a list of what not to buy.
