You come across with a genuine sense of good intention, truly. However, we need honest truth stated and polictical correctness stomped out before anything useful will happen. Until then, you are naive to think anything can happen except more of the same if not worse.

I agree. I detest political correctness with every fiber of my being.
Combating the notion that black people are an inherent problem in society and have some sort of inferior genetics that predispose them to violence is not advocating for political correctness. It is combating extreme ignorance.

At the core they're one in the same. Both were done because of decades of ignorance. The difference is one side changed and realized that lynchings were heinous and not the way a civilized society should act.

Again, I don't see that being said anywhere. What we are saying is that the BLACK CULTURE breeds this kind of behavior. It's a sociological issue, not a genetic issue.

Black people are not the problem, the black "thug" culture is the problem. It is no secret that as of a percentage, blacks commit a majority of the crimes, and it's not even close.
Could it be poverty? Perhaps, but I'd like to see the stats on violent crimes committed by the poverty stricken of all races.
Most of it has to do with how they're raised. There is a severe lack of civilized nurturing going on for someone to have such disregard for human life.
How do you fix that problem? I have no clue.

I would bet it would absolutely be targeted by some black leaders as a hate crime and national black leaders and the JUSTICE dept would be called in to investigate it.
This is where the double standard starts at the national level and it flows down to local authorities who don't want to call this tragedy a racial hate crime which it has all the appearances of being.
Yeah well it's certainly a culture thing. People around the country simply expect africian americans to be associated with violence, so when there is a story like this, no one is really surprised.
Yet some people will blame those people who expect that, saying it's unfair to look at everyone like that. Unfortunately, they aren't doing anything to help their case
