I like Justin the best.Quality, Comfort and fit are very consistent. HH for a very durable and comfortable "using" boot. I used to ride horseback competition and HH were my boot for years for daily activities. Wonderful general boot. Remember: Square Toe-Hell No!
Tony Llama aren't in the same class as Lucchese.

Check out the Nocona Legacy L toe boot. Available on amazon. I got the ones in chocolate and like them.

That one boot with the really high underslung heel you are going to hate. That is a pure riding boot.

Currently I sport Dan Post cowboy boots. I have a regular tan leather I wear to work with slacks and a gator skin pair I wear on the weekends.

When I grad law school and make some money I plan to wear Lucchese boots. Those things feel like butter.

I've always had two different pairs of boots: Ariats to frick around with and wear during activities or functions where they might get dirty, and Lucchese's to wear to work or for more formal occasions. They both serve their purpose well

If you're serious, how do they fit? I might grab a pair of casual boots from them.

Good looking boot.

Who makes these? Which model?

You're talking to a complete novice here (and your image link didn't reveal this information).

Edit ... is that the Nocona boot?

I wear the farm and ranch Wellington from Georgia Boot everyday to work. I've had my current pair for just under a year; they're beat to hell and back but still have a good grip to them and they're really comfortable. For $160, you really can't beat it, if you ask me.

I've been wearing that exact same boot for over 20 years and love it. I'm hard on them and the outside of the heals wear out but they are like an old pair of slippers. I just wish they made them in a darker color.

I bought a pair of Red Wings and they are heavy and stiff and I can't stand them.

I have found the "Shane" Lucchese on sale for $231.99 using a coupon code at Cowboychief . com.

Shepler's wants $255.99.

They normally retail for $335.
