It was the idea of the bride. She has lots of family in Colombia and didn’t want to have her elderly grandparents travel to the US.
I went to another wedding where the family was generally younger, and they all came from Latin America to the US.
I think the key is to not have a bachelor party in the region
The wedding in Colombia was a lot of fun but it wasn’t exactly Caligula levels of debauchery.

But can’t the law in the US get you in trouble if you knowingly fly to a foreign country and have sex with let’s say… a 16 year old?
I thought sex tourism for Americans is still illegal. Especially if it’s with someone younger than age of consent in America.
