So, what's thinking here that he was either hit with a ricochet or potentially a gun jammed so he tossed it down on the chair and it coincidentally fired hitting him in the lower torso upper leg?

It's that he accidentally shot himself while gathering guns to escape, and then killed himself.

That's possibly why the sheriff was so careful to say that no officer ever fired at Paddock. Because he had a gunshot wound to the chest that they had not caused.

A bullet kills 1 person. Silencer is worth another, and tracer, yet another. These tools mean every bullet now kills 3 people.

The reporter I heard mention the 2nd gunshot wound said that Paddock made a Video declaring himself to ISIS and that he was given or he gave himself a Muslim Name.

That being said, what she reported about him having a second, accidental, gunshot wound from gathering guns, absolutely fits the leaked crime scene photos.
He has stacks of guns and mags right next to an open suitcase which is next to where he died.

If true, EA6B is gonna owe me a big apology.
I wonder if it was his trips to the Philippines with Marilou that put him in contact with ISIS? I first supposed she was involved, but now I am thinking he may have just made contact separately while over there with Marilou.
He was also on cruises that went to a lot of muslim areas in SE Asia.
