What about there not being any noticeable blood on the carpet around his feet? Or his hand? If you shoot yourself or get shot in the chest/ stomach then both your hands on going on the wound naturally. I'm going to call BS on the 2nd gunshot, I think its pure speculation that that is even blood on his shirt area cut off.

I agree - the bleeding that flowed up from his head occurred after he fell backward. He still could have had blood spray onto his shirt when he fired the shot.

We are already bombing the hell out of ISIS in Syria and Iraq. They only have a few towns left that they control in the Euphrates Valley in eastern Syria and western Iraq. Within a year they will just be an insurgent force that doesn't control any territory.

I agree, but I would bet Trump would put some American boots on the ground in Syria, and go after them in Africa and Asia as well. And any affiliated groups (not just the main ISIS caliphate).

Not really. We are air support in Syria, and to my knowledge, not doing shite to their groups in Asia and Africa.

We already have boots on the ground in Syria, Africa, and Asia.

The only picture we have of his hands show him wearing black gloves.

Doesn't help that the pictures were taken with a potato.

Edit: and it does kind of appear like there is blood on the side of the table the note was sitting on.

But again, potato.

Doing what? I ask sincerely, not too involved in the operations we are running. All I know is that, if this guy claimed ISIS, Trump will want to make a big show of going after them.

Then again, with him, the "calm before the storm" could literally mean anything.

In Syria we only have SF guys training locals, iirc.

Edit: They do also support the locals in combat, but to public knowledge they don't actively engage the enemy.

I'm pretty sure we have a Ranger Battalion in Syria working with the Kurds on ground operations, we still have folks in Afghanistan, and we just had 3 SF guys killed in action a few days ago in Africa.

We have about 1,000 special forces on the ground in Syria assisting the SDF in fighting ISIS. There are some special forces (Delta Force, etc.) that occasionally launch raids and participate in the combat up close in Syria and Iraq as well. The only places left to drop a huge bomb to make a statement are the last 10% of Raqqa held by ISIS and then some smaller towns like Al Mayadin and Abu Kamal that ISIS still control.

Didn't we already mention the stealth helicopter? What do you think was waiting for him on the roof?

We are obviously helping people all over the world, but I think you know what I am suggesting, which is that we would take a much more aggressive role.

ISIS is a shell of it's former self. Current operations are sufficient.

Then remember in one of the pictures he had 3 or 4 guns in a group on top of where the 2 chairs were put together, and he died right next to them.

This may sound dumb too, but isnt it weird in that picture how the rifle is position on a bipod over his leg, if that is the case did he shoot himself while sitting on the ground or did his leg just happen to slide under the gun

Edit: Dangit this was discussed on the last page....Continue on fellas

The gun on the bipod is what he was grapping for the getaway and was what he accidentally sbot himself with. He slumped to the ground and that gun landed ove his leg. Sitting there, he put the .38 in his mouth.

I think this is the case.

I just went back and looked at that pic too. It's odd that both of the pictures showing his body specifically skip a certain part of his body.

I think the guy tried to leak only what he knew was already common knowledge. Guns, automatic fire devices, and paddock's suicide were already know elements. But he fricked up by releasing a picture of the note.

And I still think it looks like there is blood on the table with the note. But.....potato....

Nothing points to him having a "getaway" plan. He barricaded the stairs, he was on the 32nd floor, he expected cops to arrive. I stand firm that his getaway plan was always to shoot himself. I doubt a guy with his gun knowledge is going to accidentally shoot himself.

Yeah, but they said multiple guns had jammed. It easily could have misfired on him, if he was rough with it, after previously jamming.

Also, on Tuesday, the sheriff firmly said they believe he was trying to escape. More than once.
