The Clarion Alleger was terrible before the internets.

It has since gotten worse.

It's virtually reprehensible.

So are all of the Jacksoplex TV stations.

"God... you know... He forgives you for everything". Therefore, you can do anything you want - including rob, cheat, steal, and kill 8 people - and you still have the combination to the Pearly Gates.

The Culture of No Consequences marches on.

I used to be the webmaster for a big newspaper and I quit because management refused to get with the times.

I told them in 2001 that it wouldn't be long before almost all news was consumed online but they weren't interested in any of my proposed improvements to the website. All they cared about were paper subscriptions.

Well they have cut their staff by probably 75% and are trying to lease out most of the building that used to be full of reporters, editors, and photographers.

Reporter: What's next for you?
Suspect: Deaf

Why's he think he's going to lose his hearing?

He should have had his arse beat and thrown into the back of a squad car.

Since he loves Bogue Chitto so much, they should have just thrown him straight into the Bogue Chitto River, still handcuffed.

We don't do it much anymore. Oh, but back in the day.....

What a shame. That's not something you see here often.I guess these days no areas are immune to it.

Wah? Not sure if serious. There are mass shootings in MS all the time. Four were killed in Yazoo three months ago. Four were shot in Como in January. Four were shot in Magnolia in January, too. The Pearl High School shooting was one of the most notorious at the time (Columbine and Sandy Hook are the only two more notorious now). The Lockheed Martin shooting basically took mass shootings in workplace to a whole new level.

I was referring to my local area. I didn't realize there were 4 shot in Magnolia recently. Still a shame regardless.
