Had our first on May 24 last year. All I did was tell her "happy future mothers day"
Our kids have the exact same bday
I think I got her flowers or something inexpensive last year.

nothing over the top, but a card with something nice written and something encouraging would go a long way IMO, keep those positive vibes brotha

Take it from someone that had an adoption set up and fall through and waited 8 long years to have a kid. Don't get her anything that will remind her of it in the case it doesn't work out. This will be my wife's first mother's day and now I'm going all out. We still have some things we bought for what was our potential adopted son and until we got pregnant last year she qould pull thise things out and be depressed for a few days until I hid whatever it was so she couldn't easily find it.
Maybe buy a card or something but wait until you find out to give it to her or not.

Wait till Tuesday, but absolutely do something for her on Tuesday if she's pregnant. Do not fail to do this.

Dude, that's a great thought on your part, but I would probably hold off until you're sure. If it backfires, it could be absolutely devastating to her. Risk vs reward is just too great.

That's why I'm here. None of my friends have kids yet. Needed to bounce this idea off the OT
I was definitely concerned about the consequences.

Has she done a pee test yet? If so, are you waiting on a blood test confirmation?
I would say to not celebrate, but be prepared to surprise her with something on Tuesday if you get good news.

We're having to go through IVF so we're just going by what the doctor says. She might test this weekend but I think tuesday will be the day

Buy something and keep it at your office. If you get good news, give it to her after the fact. Makes you look romantic and thoughtful.

Just go ahead and get her a gift card
