you should never stop trying to do nice surprises for your wife. Especially if she is also the mother of your children. It is alarming to me to hear women I have worked with talk about how unappreciated they feel every day of their life. Should husbands be doing special stuff all the time for their wives? YES. Do they? Apparently not. So if you can't manage to show her any type of appreciation throughout the year like you should be doing, it's not that hard to at least go buy her a flower or a box of chocolates or a card on the nationally recognized day of love.
