Never stayed there, but I did gamble a bit there. Casino was nice if I remember correctly. Biggest negative I see is that it's all the way at one end of the strip.
Not a huge deal, but I like to be towards the middle.

Great poolside area.
The bad? On the opposite end of the strip and it's a hike to get anywhere.

It's a great hotel/casino with plenty of food options, good layout, great pool, and clean. If there's a convention, it can get busy, but usually isn't too big of a deal. The views from the bars up top of MB and Delano are great.

I stayed there for a bachelor party. We all liked it a lot. The only negative is that it's on one end of the strip, but we basically only left the casino/hotel/pools to go to the strip club.
It didn't have a marquee nightclub at the time, and I don't think Light is a huge venue now, either. But you can go to one of the other hotel's clubs if that's what you want. MGM Grand is close by.

Highly recommend. One of the nicest places to stay and if you get a chance to catch a concert there, it has one of the best sound arenas I've ever been in.
Pool is A+ and casino and bars are cool.

Never stayed, but been there. Its one of the more famous hotels on the strip. The only negative is that its not located in the middle of the strip, but the monorail there will take you to Excalibur.. You can then cross the street, go to MGM and then the monorail there has several stops throughout the strip.

It's really one of the nicest hotels but it's absolutely dead compared to some of the more centrally located properties.

Stayed there twice. Good food. Good pool. A hike to Planet Hollywood, Bellagio, Paris, etc.

Great hotel
We stayed in the suites
Awesome pool area
Very clean
Only negative is its down the strip but it's not a big deal
Just have the Spearmint Rhino shuttle come pick you up

Not sure if Wet Republic at MGM will still be open when you're there, but if so I highly recommend attending it's pool parties. Plenty of babes.
