BRYAN- Bryan police say a man's hand was cut off during a fight outside a club Sunday morning.

It happened around 2:00 a.m. at the Tropicana Club in the 1600 block of Groesbeck.

Police tell KBTX that the fight was in the parking lot and involved two men who were both armed with machetes.

A 37-year-old man was taken to St. Joseph after his hand was amputated during the altercation.

Bryan police are asking if you know anything about this fight to give them a call at 979-209-5300.

From the story, a helpful image of what a machete looks like:

And one hand of course.

Sounds like something a Mexican (or Central American) would do.

It was a failed attempt to disarm him?

Worst fight this week in Bryan, hand down.

#brownhandsmatter

The victim is a wallpaperer. Luckily for him his business has picked up to the point he's busier than himself now.

Loss of consortium charges upcoming for Lefty?

The alleged perpetrator told him afterwards in consolation: "If I had your hand, I throw mine in."
