Man gets in shootout with armed robbers in French quarter parking garage

They demanded money and other belongings from the man and then ordered him to get in his car, police said in a preliminary report. After getting in his car, the man pulled out a gun. Shots were exchanged between the man and one of the armed robbers, police said.
