Definitely white guilt. Plenty better looking African American stars/people they could have chosen

I manage to stay quite insulated from pop culture. When people get all amped-up because such and such movie or song won whatever award over another one, I usually have no idea what they're talking about
Aside from the Saints I don't watch TV so I'm kinda in the same boat.

A lot of shite I would never have heard of it were not mentioned here.

Until the controversy a few months ago I had no clue who was on Duck Dynasty or what they do (duck calls?)

Probably has perfect facial symmetry or some of the other criteria they use for this shite.

The only "criteria" is to generate the most publicity and magazine sales. I imagine she will do.

so she's a Mexican-American?

I think that would make her Mexican-African-American... or would it be African-Mexican-American?

I don't give a frick where she's from nor would that change my comment.

I never said she WAS an African Queen, she just looks like one. If you want to dispute the fact she looks African, you are just blind.

Who pissed in your cheerios this morning?

ETA:

I have been complimenting the chick and of course get unfairly called out by some internet warrior Read before you correct dipshit

Also, to be fair, I honestly thought she was from South America like Brasil or a neighboring country. I knew she wasn't American or African.

You can be the one to tell the African Americans you meet that they're not really Africans. See how far that gets you.

ETA: not really originated from Arika.

So she's African-Mexican? Mexican-African? Which one takes priority when you've got two in your hyphenated racial status?
