LSUPD investigating alleged rape on Lakeshore Drive (on Oct. 7)

LSUPD sent out a campus-wide email alert Wednesday which asked for tips in the case of a woman raped while a group of men watched near West Lakeshore Drive on Oct. 7.
Investigators said the victim was approached by a group of men while in an area north of the Lod Cook Alumni Center. Police said one of the men grabbed the woman and forced her to have sex with him while the other men watched.
Tips in this investigation can be anonymously submitted to the LSU Police on their website, or through the free LSU SHIELD app for smartphones.

North of Lod Cook Alumni Center is not a very precise location. I saw a group of mature Caucasian males of questionable character just north of the Lod Cook Alumni Center at the LSU Board of Supervisors building. Should I contact the LSU Police?
