Dome season finales > season openers.

Hopefully they renovate it before then. Place turns into a dump on Sundays.

Kind of a small seating capacity for being so close to Baton Rouge.....but still cool.

It has been renovated over and over again, including this season.

Now has the largest indoor screen in the NFL I believe

Have you seen the new replay screens? Over 100 yards long in each endzone and top of the line. Was my biggest complaint of the super dome prior to this upgrade.

So they took the Auburn approach by getting a big new TV for their trailer instead of saving up for a better house. Great.

New sound system too

Yep. Also has had working WIFI for a while. You can check bathroom and concession lines via the app. You can also rewatch replays or highlights from the game on your phone.

This goes well with the lower level renovations done over the past 10 years

At least be clever in your trolling.

I dunno...our last experience in the dome is one many still haven't gotten over.

The blueprints for the Superdome renovation were not drawn up using a crayon, so it's unlikely that an Auburn grad had anything to do with it.

Will mix nicely with the Decadence Festival. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Well maybe some of it!

Why move the game 60 miles to play in a stadium with 25,000 less people?

I can't imagine many teams would be interested in playing a "neutral" site game this close to Baton Rouge unless that team has a "neutral" site of their own nearby.

To make New Orleans feel better about being home to Tulane instead of LSU....

I say every other year to start off the season. Honestly, why don't we do this as well? Ole Miss fans rarely balk at the idea of partying in NOLA.

The Dome is fine. Location is perfect. They are about to open up a new stadium in ATL. If that is what 1.5B gets you I'll stick with the Dome.
