They quit doing the two tickets things while I was there. You used to get a ticket for yourself and a "date". They axed that and you only got the one. Only benefit over the regular student section was that your seats were reserved (and sometimes a little better). But it had nothing to do with being "greek". Also, they cost more than the regular student tickets. Any group that was a registered organization could sign up for those tickets. I remember the MBA school had tickets behind us one year.

I don't know what to tell you man. I was there ten years ago, and we stayed the whole game.

Leaving early must be a generational thing. In my day, 1987-92, we stayed until nearly the end of every game, and this was during the less-than-stellar Mike Archer and Gerry Dinardo years.

Our dates wanted to be at the game as well. It's just what you did.

We were rewarded tremendously in 1988.....the earthquake game vs Auburn.

When I was there, it was common to leave early, but only for small games that were blow outs. No body was leaving if you were up by 10 with a quarter left to go. I remember some huge games (Auburn '05, Florida and Auburn '07) where everyone obviously was there. But then I remember big games that turned into blowouts (Va Tech), where everyone left at the start of the 4th. I think it was just a product of the teams we were putting together at the time. Again, the seats are assigned, so it's obvious when those sections empty. Whereas the regular student section all just moves closer and closer and you can't really pinpoint who left, but just that the top of the stadium is now empty.

Ok I take back what I said. I'm still just a tiny bit butthurt about the guy in front of me yelling to his friends "frick this, we're going to Bogie's!" before halftime at the Ole Miss game. Glad he missed rushing on the field.

They have a food fight with the Sheppard's Pie now? In my day, they chased the House Steward down (the member who made the menu and managed the kitchen staff) and threw him in the lake.

Which is why I only served it in the warm months or when I planned on being drunk by lunchtime.

Haha. He might not have even been in a frat. We didn't go to Bogie's after football games because there were always house parties.

I agree that back in the day it was cheaper to be in a frat. The room and board was discounted enough to more than make up for the dues. Most of my friends worked their way through college.

It is whispered that they are a dirty bunch of bastards who'd rather frick than fight.

To be on the right side of history, we need to replace these racist homophobic rapist terrorist groups with State-trained diversity healers. They could lead compulsory freshman Lesbian Dance Therapy classes and breastfeed wounded flamingos back to health. As Goddess and Liberalism demand.

Forward, bitches !

KA got shite on a couple years ago. DKE got somewhat hit up for their game day signs. No fraternity is really safe at LSU, Sanders and Guillory just have an order of who they want to destroy, most to least. Eventually they'll be able to destroy all the fraternities and turn Greek Life into the pansy party they've always dreamed of

The average fraternity guy would slaughter the average non-Greek in a battle of social competency.

Since nobody has answered the OP yet, the story floating around campus is that they struggled with not sending pledges to the hospital. No confirmation on that yet, so take it as a rumor until hearing otherwise.

LOL. They had just as many friends as you in high school and will have just as many as you after graduation.

It's a university. Tons of shite happens. If you think the frats are the main culprits in the shite that goes down on college campuses then you're misinformed.
