Is that where kids learn to "Tiger Bait" people?

My brother had a kid there up until recently. It's fairly expensive but was convenient for them. There was, at least once, an issue of them not having fed the kid despite it being documented (came home with an extra bottle but it was documented he took them all or something like that). My brother and SIL met with the daycare somethingorother and discussed their concerns. The wife also was horrified to walk in and see the kid sleeping on its stomach rather than its back (huge deal for anyone who thinks it's not, by the way). And maybe one of the women smelled like smoke and took smoke breaks without changing clothes before handling the kids, but I don't know if that was a major concern for him or not. Other than that, I think they had an overall good experience there.

Promise you they more than likely fed him someone else's bottle...either way if they would have noticed it when they picked the kid up then they would have had the daycare backed into a corner...either they're lying about feeding the kid or they gave them someone else's bottle(which is worse than not feeding)

Well, they did notice at the time. I wish I remembered the exact details, but it prompted a meeting with daycare management for incorrect documentation similar to what you said- he either drank someone else's milk or didn't eat, neither of which was particularly acceptable. The handbook/agreement also suggested the kids would be placed on their back to sleep (straight from the American Academy of Pediatricians recommendations). There was a week or two-week period that they were very unhappy with the care the little one was receiving. After a meeting with someone in management/supervision, I didn't hear anything else negative about the place.

No - apply NOW. They may prioritize LSU students and employees but you want to get on that list ASAP.

As far as the center itself, our daughter was there from age 3-5, and we couldn't have been happier.

Turned them down recently. Staying at UMPEA on Dalrymple. Talked to a couple parents that had kids enrolled and some other people supposedly in the know and said it isn't near the quality it was a few years back. With all those things it wasn't worth it for us to switch schools from a place we and my child are comfortable with, plus it would've been more expensive.

How old was the kid at the time? If they can roll over, they can sleep on their stomach.

Have had friends who sent their kids there and they liked it. The wait list in intense, have a friend who is currently on it and its almost 2 years, so good luck to you.

Supervisor prob told the workers that if they ended up w/ an extra bottle cuz they didn't feed the kid to at least dump it out before the parents got there... also, flip the kid over on his back before the parents show up.

I wish you young men would exercise sexual restraint while obtaining higher education. Let's foster a belief children born out of wedlock isn't the best plan.

The teachers from north africa are extremely rough with the kids. They don't file accident reports if no one notices. While there are cameras EVERYWHERE, they use them to abuse the student workers rather than watching their shitty staff. I've done multiple observations there... I wouldn't leave a dog there, much less a child.

There is a reason they lost multiple stars and the director is no longer employed there.

Do your research!

Please don't take what I have said as a list of reasons not to send your child there. I just happened to know a couple of worrisome things and figured I'd share. I don't think you'll find one that doesn't have worrisome things. And, like I said, Bro and SIL left the little one there and were generally happy with the place.
