Grew up in Baton Rouge but mother taught at Live Oak in Watson so we were able to go to Live Oak (it was one of the highest rated state public schools in the 80's & 90's). Once you got to know the rednecks they were God's salt of the earth people. That was before the meth epidemic. And haven't been back since graduating LOHS.
ETA: they had some hot arse chicks with a 60F/40M ratio and growing up being close friends with the Calmes' family was a bonus. Learned to drive my first stick shift car when Mr Butch brought home a Porshe and a Corvette to let us learn.

Because you know them, no one can make a joke about Livingston parish? Fwiw I knew the murderer once upon a time. He is and always has been a tPos and threat to the community.
