I know people that have been diagnosed and got some T pills. They are night and day, so it is real.

My next physical I am going to get tested for the heck of it, why not.

Testosterone burns fat, makes you active, makes you appealing, etc.

It's what makes you a man.

Yea no big problems except no sex and no energy to do any of the hobbies you used to enjoy. No big deal.

It has been life changing for me. I had the levels of a 55+ year old at 29. Not fat, just runs in the family.

Couldn't sleep well, always tired, very low sex drive.

Been on it about 40 weeks now and I am a new man in every sense of the word. Only problem is it is extremely easy to gain weight on it so you have to be even more careful with diet.

Also, go to a clinic with real doctors that specializes in this stuff. They test me every 13 weeks. I had extremely low iron levels too, which I now supplement.

thanks for the response. did you find out about your T levels during a physical, or was it just because you didn't feel the 'normal' drive?

dang, so how often does one need to get testosterone refills?

Well you can go in to the Dr and they can give you the shot or you can give yourself the shots. They usually give a monthly dose or sometimes the larger vial that lasts around 3 months.

It's awesome.... except for the shots, that sucks.

Just wondering. I'm 30. Hopefully this won't affect us anytime in the near future. That would suck.

I can't tell if I have low T or if I'm just a lazy couch potato.

It's sad, but I'd much rather stay at home in my robe and slippers during the weekend, instead of going outside for any kind of activity.

Serious question, not trying to challenge you....

What are your long term plans? There's a chance you may have to stay on TRT forever, as your body down-regulates production of natural T.

I know the data around this is a mixed bag, but there's evidence on both sides.

Could you really do the shots for the next 40-60 years?

Good idea.

Just make sure they do Total T, Free T, and Sex Hormone Binding Globulin.

You really want all three measures. At least the first two.

Have a close friend who has low T. 28 year old guy, healthy in all other ways.

He said he was so tired all the time, had lost his sex drive, and had slight depression.

Turns out he had extremely low T. He is a new person after getting meds. His wife says its like she's cheating on her husband with another man

Makes me want to get tested
