If you're going to get pulled over, at least you're getting pulled over by one of the best color schemes in the business as far as police are concerned.

I think it should be illegal for cop cars to be anything but white with some kind of stripe on the hood.

Looks good, and stealth-like, but I think the new color-scheme for LA State Police still wins out.

Been seeing more and more “unmarked” LE vehicles. Only giveaway is the bully bars/bumpers and black steel rims.

It's good to see my tax dollars go towards color selections so we can have a vicarious dick measuring contest with other states.

The newest Louisiana ones I’ve seen lately are pretty slick in the nondescript department:

Comes in black as well. I think it’s frickin cheating on their part. And it really doesn’t make good sense in the first place, when you think about. I mean, what actual goal could it *successfully* achieve??

And the windows should not be tinted more than the law allows for individuals

I bought an old State Trooper Crown Vic from an auction, still had the spotlight attached on the drivers side. That thing was sweet. Everyone thought I was an active cop in that thing.

That blue Charger is actually called their legacy car. 175,000 miles on it.
Basically a PR vehicle used by the PIO’s

Anyone remember what NOPD and Troop B had before they both went and got fleets of Crown Vic Interceptors?

My 1st vehicle for about 6 months was the old 4 door family Ford Galaxy 500, 1971 so the front end was very Torino looking. Originally light baby blue a decade out in the sun had it a shiny just off-white bluish tint.

Dad and 1 of his truck drivers rebuilt the engine (351 Cleveland) to be nearly silent. I used to roll up on my buddies where they would have snuck off behind a building to smoke a joint and scare the crap out of them.

That's retro from the late 80's. Very cool looking.
