I'm not sure where you live, but you are very blinded to the ills of society. Black society/culture must be fixed, it must be saved. You and most people like you, who stick your head in the sand are only worsening the situation.

A place much more affluent than Louisiana which happens to have a significant mixed population.

Black culture is not what you see in the deep south. Which you might have a perception is normal across the country.

Each year more and more black people better themselves with education and other avenues moving away from the endless cycles of living in shite.

No different than people who are white trash who do the same.

The inner city probably not but the suburbs yes. But cities like Chicago and Detroit have whites living in the same conditions doing the same shite.

Is that why black population continues to grow in the south while decreasing in other areas of the country?

So u don't think that the south has nice suburbs for black families to live in?? Most black people don't move away from the south, jus find nicer places to live or they move to other southern cities.

In the city? But then you have to count the suburbs which blacks are moving too. Much more educated and seem to cause a lot less problems.

Hasn't the south also had a huge influx on hispanics, they don't use contraception due to religion and this could also explain these numbers.

It's prob why Texas is so high. A large Hispanic population with little education in a deeply conservative state. Recipe for high STD rates.

Also Arkansas is high in that list... If that isn't the largest concentration of white trash and meth heads I don't know what is

Yeah most suburbs are full of black families in the south, Mandeville is a regular Harlem.

Yea I saw that too, blaming blacks is just a cop out.

So many factors play into this.

Majority of the Black Population Lived in the South

Compared with 2000, the percentage of the black alone-or-in-combination population increased in the South, stayed about the same in the West, and decreased in the Northeast and the Midwest. Of all respondents who reported black in 2010, 55 percent lived in the South, 18 percent in the Midwest, 17 percent in the Northeast and 10 percent in the West.

The percentage of the black alone population also increased in the South, from 55 percent in 2000 to 57 percent in 2010, whereas it decreased in the Northeast and the Midwest. The black alone-or-in-combination population comprised 50 percent or more of the total population in 106 counties. All these counties were in the South except for the city of St. Louis, which is considered a county equivalent. In contrast, 62 percent of all counties had less than 5 percent of the population identified as black. These patterns were similar for the black alone population.

Concentrations of blacks outside of the South tended to be in counties within metropolitan areas. There were 317 counties where the black alone-or-in-combination population was 25.0 to 49.9 percent of the population, and only 17 of these counties were not in the South. Of these 17, 15 were in metropolitan areas.

Can't that also be attributed to population shift trends in america? People in general are moving south.

That's not new news... It's been known that most black people live in the south. But once again it's not like they all moved to the inner city.
