It's the opposite in Avoyelles Parish. You can be Cruz, Rubio, or Trump, you'd better have a (D) in front of your name to be elected locally. National elections, the parish goes (R). I don't understand.

Per capita Louisiana spends approx 1200 more than the national average and approx 2400 more than the southern average. That would mean we need to cut 5 billion or 10 billion to get to those averages. Never gonna happen. Our budget is 26 billion for 2017
