This is the reason I have always wanted to return to college and attend law school or get an accounting degree in order to sit for the bar exam or CPA exam. The amount of people who fail these exams makes me think this could be a fun challenge. The issue is now after the age of 70 I would have a hard time getting admitted to a school of law.

An experienced legal assistant would be a more valuable paralegal than a new law grad.

Loyola has been out performing Tulane on the LA bar exam a lot recently.

Pretty sure Loyola put an emphasis on passage rate stating 1L year. They do a lot based on bar prep.

So first time takers out performed those who’ve failed before?

Except Tulane. It appears they had only three retakes, and all three passed.

It's not the exact same test that they simply take over and over. It's different questions each time.

That said, there is often a reason they failed the first time (dumb, didn't adequately prepare...which is ridiculous given it is the most important test you take in order to fully pursue your chosen profession...or they don't plan on practicing so they don't really care if they pass)

And just think of those in 2020 that got the privilege to practice without ever passing the bar.

No you wouldn’t. So long as you’re willing to pay. I don’t know why you would though.

Why did a disproportionate amount of Southern students fail? I’ll hang up and listen…

Makes you wonder about all of the asterisk lawyers who were not required to take the bar because of the stupidest muh covid decision ever.
