Huge difference. Only top notch housing now.

It'll have some amenities still but river ranch is massive in comparison.

Because Gonzales/Prairieville needs a car dealership

I agree, Horton is garbage.
DSLD is not though, which was the point.

Whoa easy now. Sorry I can't keep up with all the shitty track home developments going on these days.

Actually this last phase is individual contractors building.

Is it going where Premier Performance Marine is currently?
Posted on 12/3/14 at 7:34 pm to Slickback
Assuming that corner or the one with Enterprise. Is the enterprise still open?
Unless they bought the property with Burger Delight and the old house.

Is that the trampoline building? That big arse building? Jesus. How many fricking people are going to jump on trampolines to pay for that?

More traffic headaches for a grossly overstressed infrastructure system.
I wouldn't think a car stealership would add very much traffic. There isn't many cars going to anf from existing stealerships per hour.

Duplessis technically.
There is no technically specific for the names of these areas. The names of the areas were handed down from people much older than I. Gonzales and Sorrento are the only legally drawn lines on the east bank. Everything else is just a general area with residents claiming to live in one or the other.
People from Babin used to claim to live in the Doplessis area while my friends right across Airline on Black Bayou claimed Gonzales.

No, but know several who do and they are more than happy with their home.

Duplessis St. was what I was referring to. Pretty sure that is the "line" between praireville and gonzales, west of airline anyway

You mean Duplessis RD. that connects Airline and Hwy 73 by the church? That may be a general reference point at Airline. It's kinda fuzzy there as well and drifts farther from that road after crossing the railroad.
A friend of mine grew up right across Airline on Germany road. His family always said they lived in Prairieville. That's the thing about these unincorporated areas, you just never know where the lines are. I was raised in Geismar. That one has totally changed gobbling up Louisville and part of Dutchtown. I don't hear anybody claiming to live in Hobart or Little Prairie anymore either. They gone!
