I've been wearing an Ariat belt similar to this for about 4 years with zero wear.

Is Ariat made in China?
Ariat, a high-end maker of riding boots in Union City, Calif., has boots made in Italy, Mexico, and China, in addition to the United States. In all, the value of US production of men's western-style boots fell 40 percent between 1997 and 2002, according to the US Census Bureau. "We are operating in a global economy....

Jacob Hill Leather
Made in NC, primarily exotic skins for golf belts, but has standard italian calf and bison belts that run $99. You can customize stitching colors as well usually ships in about 10-14 business days. He also ready to ship stuff, I have several that are going on 3 years old they are good quality,

If we're talking gun belts, the EDC belts from SOE Gear with the Cobra buckles are rugged as hell. I don't see how someone could wear these things out.

I buy my Oakley belts at Buckle.
They don’t have white to match my sunglasses though.

may I offer a one inch alligator strap not actually a belt but even better as an alternative. I got mine in 90s at brooks brothers and it’s still my go to belt. I think i paid 200 bucks for belt and about 150 for silver strap buckle.

Sketchy frickers love edge painting their "Genuine Amercian Calfskin Leather" belts. I guess that's so they can hide the fact that their belts are just two very thin splits sandwiched around a particle leather core.......in other words, cheap shite leather shavings/dust bound together with glue, covered in the front and back by two very thin leather splits, and the edge is covered with thick edge paint to hide that cheapness.
Their buckles usually suck, too.
