I've been wearing an Ariat belt similar to this for about 4 years with zero wear.
1.5" width seems to be the perfect width.

If we're talking gun belts, the EDC belts from SOE Gear with the Cobra buckles are rugged as hell. I don't see how someone could wear these things out.

I buy my Oakley belts at Buckle.

They don’t have white to match my sunglasses though.

I’ve bought my last few from Hanks. Have been very happy. Not the cheapest but very high quality.

may I offer a one inch alligator strap not actually a belt but even better as an alternative. I got mine in 90s at brooks brothers and it’s still my go to belt. I think i paid 200 bucks for belt and about 150 for silver strap buckle.

I guess that's so they can hide the fact that their belts are just two very thin splits sandwiched around a particle leather core.......in other words, cheap shite leather shavings/dust bound together with glue, covered in the front and back by two very thin leather splits, and the edge is covered with thick edge paint to hide that cheapness.

Their buckles usually suck, too.
