Does anyone know or have seen any projections for the longterm impact of the wildfires happening in the Southeast?

Depending on how bad it's certainly going to hurt tourism. I wanted to go up there sometime next spring but not if it's a bunch of burnt trees.

natural wild fires have been occurring since the beginning of time and the long term impact is that it is good for the forested areas.

Kills invasive plants/underbrush, returns nutrients to the soil, etc

So fork, since you are friends with this gal. Can you explain why she would lie to us and say the cabin belonged to someone else when we asked to negotiate with the owners? If she's a standup gal, why wasn't she forthright about her ownership of this place?

Did you ever think to search for the address under the county property tax assessor website?

No, because by that point it was clear she was unreasonable.

More so the wildlife and national forest. The tourism and economy will obviously take a hit.

We used to burn these woods yearly as a matter of course. Now there is a house on every hill. Ice storms, deadfall, and fire fuel adds up. It is just nature.

Extremes? It typically takes no longer than one minute.

You just go to the county assessor website, type in the address, and press enter/search...
