Left Alameda, CA around 5pm on a Friday. I was in Dallas around 10pm Saturday night: 1700 miles.

..I hate being the final post on a page.

shite I forgot I drove Shreveport to Raleigh in 2001

left 9pm arrived around 2 the next day

took forever because this was before cell phones were nationwide free calling (friend had local city only) and I had to wait an hour at a little rock hotel due to some misfortunate timing…also had 2 cars so multiple stops were necessary…sucked arse

I felt like shite for a week after I completed my 36 hour 2200 mile trek with only about an hour stop just past Dallas; every other stop was gas and gos.
