Take a look at who was elected mayor.

I value your opinion as you have obviously traveled there and have knowledge, but while Muslims may not be a strict majority they are certainly wielding influence.

London is a classic case of immigration gone awry.

I think, based on current events, that is wishful thinking.

London already isn't what it was so to think it won't continue to decline is unrealistic.

Let's bookmark this and argue again in 20 years.

roughly 13 to 14% of the city is Muslim.

Blacks make up "only" 13% of the US population. Are they culturally inconsequential?

Meh not really. thing is most these Muslims have been here for decades already. Of course there needs to be a better job to make sure some assimilate like the others have. With London becoming an ever more global city and financial power with influences from all over the world the city will be just fine.

Major financial power and one of the highest cost of livings in the world its not declining. Too much at stake and too much money to be made to let it become a Muslim city. When I was on the tube yesterday the two Muslim women I saw with the head scarves were just doing their make up and chatting away on their phones.

This will be the telltale.

If you see these guys bailing or a continued uptick in violence, better bail out yourself.

My issue is this is accepted in western culture and you are in London for a reason. whether it was his parents or theirs before, they left. Now you are here trying to push your old ways on a free people. Trying to influence it towards his ideals, which obviously arent working too well elsewhere. People in Islamic states are currently hauling arse to get away from themselves. Then they try to turn where they run to into where they came from

Ummmm, I don't think this has anything to do with "sexually explicit" (not that this is really explicit) advertisements. This has to do with body image. We are getting this pushed down our throats here in the US as well from SJW. We just haven't reached the point of it making it into any laws and hopefully never will. I don't see how any of this has anything to do with Islam other than the guys name. They are merely taking the "models in advertisements are too skinny and provide unrealistic body images for young girls blah blah blah" argument to a legal level. I seriously doubt Sharia Law has any statements banning a woman that is too skinny with big boobs because she'll make other women feel bad.

This is leftist policy that is ridiculous. And there may be a Muslim "issue" in London. But lets not jump the bun and combine those two issues here.

Which will be a huge clash b/w Muslims who identify as British and those who don't.

Pretty sure you can look however you want. Isn't that what Caitlyn Jenner so "bravely" fought for?

So having surgery to change your sex and eating hormone pills like candy should be applauded and brave but wanting to be thin is too disturbing to put on advertisement?

Seems like people against this type of thing are just jealous or too lazy to change their own bodies. They would just rather not look at it or have other people see it. "If no one sees thin people they won't realize I'm fat" mentality.
No one is jealous of Caitlyn Jenner, they probably feel better about themselves seeing her. But no, don't show a skinny attractive girl, "I'm against that, she looks unhealthy". All those hormone treatments are great for Caitlyn I'm sure.

If it was about the women that are starving themselves for money well that's their choice and their career. Christian bail has been paid to be unhealthily thin and extremely overweight in different roles as an actor. Haven't seen anyone complain.. It's a job he can take it if he wants. Maybe no one complains bc it doesn't make some outspoken group of women feel jealous or insecure. There are a million unhealthy ways to make money people love to follow.

If it was actually about not promoting a healthy lifestyle... I don't think the glorified steroid use in "professional" wrestling promotes a very healthy or realistic lifestyle. But a bunch of guys aren't worried about not looking like hulk hogan and feeling insecure. Hell they take their kids to the events and aren't worried about it influencing them.

There are plenty of other examples. Bottom line I think a bunch of unattractive outspoken women are the only reason this is even brought to light at all. And due to PC and the media, not having a bleeding heart towards any complaint not made by a white male is bc you are either racist, sexist, or anything other kind of ist they can come up with.

The funny thing is people making a fuss over things like this think they are being forced into a certain lifestyle. When in reality the only ones being forced into anything are people wanting to speak freely about this and call it what it really is. Say this on any platform besides an anonymous internet message board and take cover, lots of careers could even be lost. Everyone knows but no one can say anything. Suppression of free speech through political correctness, even when it's the truth

This is the most common sense thing I've read in this thread. Well done.
