There's a reason Ballard's has been around a looooong time.

Cypress, TX - Webb's Automotive

Baton Rouge - Gordon and Sandifer, Zimmer Gears

My family used Jeff Cobb for years when I was growing up but we have been gone for over 20 years. Not sure if they are still good.

How do I know none of these posts are shady mechanics promoting their own shops?

Harahan - Bimmer Shop 2212 Hickory Ave, River Ridge, LA 70123 (for BMW repair). Guy is honest, helpful, and much cheaper than the stealership.

How do I know you aren't some shady dealership trying to sabotage a good thread?

Never delt with Tommy's but have heard good things.

Ballard's The old man was honest but I wouldn't trust Kenny one bit.

I deal with Ponchatoula Automotive, never been treated wrong there.

I use Diez tire in Prairieville for most stuff. Tires, brakes, etc. The owner is usually there and a good ole baw. Doesn't try to up sale me, doesn't charge me retarded fees for diagnosing things and usually makes recommendations on ways I don't have to spend a bunch of money.

My thought too. Every time a thread like this pops up, there's a bunch of random people that shoe up and say "this shop is the best".
