I used to dislike HR Gates, but he seems to take joy in upsetting black men and women now with their white ancestry.

Is this a surprise? This isn't based on anything concrete, but if I had to guess how many blacks from the south have white ancestors, id say its probably north of 50%.
This might be a bad example because its not ancestors, but look at Chris Jackson. He found out several years ago his daddy is white. So he has kids, when his kids have kids... and so on. Now think back to slavery. There were probably slave owners who got multiple of his slaves pregnant. Maybe at once. Then over time.. I bet its harder to find a black person from the south that doesn't have white in their ancestry.
