best takeaway drill out there
If I'm miss hitting, I set up one shot like this and instant fix.
Also increase the distance between your ball and the drill ball to ~2 feet if you have a wrist break/inside out issue. If you don't knock the ball back on the takeaway start over.
It forces you to break at the proper backswing point, to slow down takeaway, to keep from inside out, and to tempo entire swing all in one easy drill.

That's a good drill.
Really, anything that makes you think about setting the club at the top properly, and easing through transition works for shanks(Rynomichaels).

Thib just remember that if it feels weird to you, it's probably correct bc your shite is jacked up now

Good drill right there.

It's really the only drill I actively use. Once it starts working, it's all about shot selection/scoring from there on out. No more swing corrections needed.

Have a bachelor party heading to Biloxi this weekend. Playing Shell Landing Friday and Saturday...! Never played there before, how's the course?

Shell landing is pretty nice.
I'll give you a grand if you can lift the dL3 painting in the bar and bring it to me.

haven't played shell landing in years - we played grand bear and fallen oak over the xmas holidays - both were great condition

Played there last year in March. It's a fun course, but can chew you up if you aren't playing well, which I wasn't.
Large waste bunkers and regular bunkers. Has a good 'texture' to it with different grasses and vegetation surrounding it.
I got paired up with two local community college golfers. One had their girlfriend in the cart. I topped a drive and had to hit a hybrid up the fairway. I hooked a low screamer and it's beaming straight for the cart and the girlfriend. The ball goes THROUGH the cart and knocks the water bottle outta the cup holder onto the fairway, while the girlfriend was sitting reading in the cart.
The boyfriend yells back, "THAT WAS AWESOME!"
I thought I killed someone at first.

Looks like a good drill. Will have to try that at the range later today and see how it works.

When we talk talk golf, it isn't a sport. It's a hobby, like knitting.
This belongs on the OT, with butt sex, wowyhi, rape threads, dogs killed by cops, and Paige.

Cause some nerds were extremely mad and continually had their feelings hurt cause they suck at golf and couldn't hit a drive 200 yds. Jealousy.

It's come a long way. Down to a 6.5 near the end of last year, but it's on the rise once again (7.7 I belive).
