I've had a different experience. Eli was a complete douche the couple times I hung out with him in high school ( we have friends in common). Now he was in high school, so I'm sure he's matured.

Well it wouldn't surprise me. I've personally witnessed douchey behavior. He pulled the whole " Don't you know who I am? Who my father is?" crap when he was in high school. I'm sure it was worse at OM.

Nevermind. Obviously, some of you don't get it and never will.

Agree. They have done nothing for LA and I do not even consider them Louisiana-ish...all they did was send their kids to SEC schools to play against the Flagship University in the State LSU.

Wish they would go to Mississippi myself.

Or maybe some of us aren't from New Orleans and/or aren't Saints fans, and don't feel the need to worship at the Manning altar.

Agreed. Unless, i'm somehow benefit financially from them, I don't care that much about any athlete.

I know there are a few exceptional athletes that do a lot of good for their communities etc, but for the most part, I just never understood celebrity/athlete worship.

I've never heard one good thing about him from Ole Miss people. There's a guy who posts here who was in his fraternity (Sigma Nu) and said he was a total dipshit.

On the other hand, my friend who lives in Hoboken said Eli would hang out at the same bar all the time when he started playing for the Giants and was always nice.

Eli never did smile. Had to be thinking "Crap, now Peyton has as many SB rings as I do".

According to legend...

Cooper and Peyton strongly resemble each other. Supposedly Cooper was walking in the FQ when somebody came up to him and said, "Peyton! What are you doing here? You have a game in Knoxville tomorrow!"

And Cooper replied, "Yeah but I've always wondered how I'd do in a game when I was hungover, so I'm gonna go get totally wasted tonight then fly up and play in the game tomorrow"
